Cathryn Marian PHILLIPS

December 9, 1930 - February 2, 2024

Cathryn Marian Phillips (nee Stauffer) left on her final journey on Friday February 2nd, 2024, at the age of 93 with her daughter and granddaughter holding her hands.  Loving mother of Ken and Kris (Ron), mother-in-law of Karren.  Grandma of Cale, Jessica (Ryan), Brendan, Kelsey (Jarvis) and Carly.  GG to Jackson, Elliott, Norah, Karson and Callie. Predeceased by her husband Doug (2005), brother Pat (2014) and parents Sam and Ruby.

Marian enjoyed 38 years of retirement after a 35 year teaching career, starting at the age of 17 in a rural one room school house, and finished her career at Centennial Hylands E.S. in Shelburne, Ontario.  She was able to enjoy many travel adventures and enjoyed sewing, gardening and reading, as well as colouring in her later years. 

We feel your presence and guidance each and every day of our lives. We take comfort in your peace. You will always be lovingly remembered in our thoughts and in our hearts. Our love and strength came from you. Sadly missed but never forgotten by your loving family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to In Memoriam Funeral Services Inc.   A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.  If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or CNIB in Cathryn's memory, would be greatly appreciated.
