-Professional services and arrangement conference with a Licensed Funeral Director in your home or at our office

-(Up to 2 Hours) Service at off-site location (fees may be applicable from venue)

-Documentation of all vital statistics for government registration of death

-Obtaining the necessary documents and permits for cremation

-Minimal use of our facilities for sheltering of remains prior to cremation

-Transfer of deceased within 100 km radius from In Memoriam Funeral Services location

-Unlimited Funeral Directors Proof of Death Certificates (standard ten to start)

-Creation and submission of obituary to newspaper (newspaper costs additional)

-Creation of personal memorial page and book of memories on In Memoriam’s website. This is a place to share the obituary (any length, no extra charge), and to provide a place for friends and family members to share condolences, photos, stories and memories.

-Arrangement, planning and coordination of all service details

-Set up of urn, flowers, memorialization items and photos

-Funeral equipment such as floral stands, register stands, and easels

-Funeral Director and ushers to ensure all details are looked after, to greet and seat guests, and to instruct all funeral participants in their role in the service

-Concierge staff member to retrieve documents, clothing, personalization/memorialization items and delivery of cremated remains to authorized individual

-Assistance with AND submission of CPP Lump Sum Death Benefit and Survivor Benefit Applications. The maximum CPP death benefit (some funeral homes refer to it as a Canadian Government Grant) is $2500. The amount is dependent on how long the deceased has worked, and how much they have contributed into Canada Pension. The monthly survivor's benefit is for the surviving spouse and children under the age of 18 years, or under the age of 25 years if attending a postsecondary institution.

NOTE: These prices do not include memorial stationery and disbursements which are 3rd party fees and charges, such as, but not limited to obituary, flowers, cemetery fees, outside venue for service, catering, monuments, musicians, clergy/officiant.
