--My name is Diane Lawson and I have been providing grief and bereavement support in Orangeville and the surrounding area for over twenty years. My education includes a B.A. in Thanatology ("study of death and psychological mechanisms for coping with them"), from University of Western Ontario; and a Certificate in Bereavement Education from the University of Toronto.
My professional experience includes numerous positions with Bereaved Families of Ontario and I am currently a lay chaplain at Headwaters Health Care Centre. I am also a member of Bereavement Ontario Network.
I am passionate about journeying with those living with loss and have facilitated young widow groups, parent groups, provided one-on-one support and have led Christmas memorial events as well as grief educational events.
